DUNDONALD circular local name-stamp in brown ink with backstamps also for KILMARNOCK (also in brown) dated 5 February 1847 and GLASGOW dated 6 February 1847 timed at 7:30 am.
Dundonald was a sub-office of Kilmarnock which opened 1 August 1843. The name-stamp is not recorded as being used to cancel the adhesive during the official period but is the Type XX as used elsewhere.
